| Can you see the rocker? |
On our way west to visit Yosemite we had to stop at the Balanced Rock! Upon seeing it mom and I both thought it looked like a 50's crooner with the big pompadour sticking out!! The rock is 48 feet tall and weighs 40 tons and is held up by a pedestal that is 3 feet by 17 inches. Those are some small shoes for this giant fellow!
The drive out there was interesting. Took us about 30 minutes from Twin Falls. We went through lots of flat farmland that suddenly turns into a rocky canyon. It was unexpected to say the least but a treat for those of us who kept seeing a cow... nother cow.
