Sporty Smurf and the ECM ball are ready to go!

Tis the night before travel and all are awake.  Packing and cleaning before taking a break.  When what to my wondering eyes did appear but sporty smurf and the ECM ball staking their turf.

The trip officially starts tomorrow but when I went to the car today I discovered a little surprise left in my car. A bouncy ball that I have offically named ECM (Ethan, Connor, and Megan) since I'm sure one of them left it in there:)  It reminded me to make sure I packed sporty smurf the traveling smurf.

When I moved to Alaska, Ethan gave me the smurf as a good luck with travel gift.  I took pictures at several locations and sent it to him so.... I decided that he needed to go along with us and the ECM ball that will now travel with me as well.

Ethan, Connor and Megan:  I wonder how high the ball would bounce if I dropped it at the Grand Canyon.  Ha Ha.. Just kidding!  I would't want to litter:) 

Updated the GPS, and lost all my trip info so spending the next hour putting it all back in.. Wasn't technology supposed to make our lives easier?

I do like the hands free option on the rental though.  It's way cool.  Think I'll ask for that option on the next car!  Anyways off I go to finish packing, cleaning and otherwise occupying my time until leaving time!  Hooray!  Too excited!
