South Dakota is a long drive. To keep ourselves from being bored, mom decided to collect license plates. Our goal is to have all 50 by the end of this trip. We had 28 the first two days. She says she has Alaska because the plates on my car are still Alaskan but I tell her that's cheating. She insists that isn't....What do you think?
Here's what it looks like when we aren't actively keeping ourselves busy.

If you have ever driven a long distance with Tommy you know that he gets bored rather quickly. To keep him busy we kept a look out for Wall Drug. Driving across South Dakota you see billboards for this place every few miles. We made a game out of who could find the signs the quickest and read what they said. I have to say it reminded me of those road trips with Dad. There was always a game or two going in the car!

I have a friend that has been here before and told me all about the tourist trap it is so of course I had to visit. I LOVED it. So fun! We ate dinner there. Pretty decent prices and the food was good. It has a store for everything. Animatronic singing bands, lots of souvenirs and a big back yard for the kids to play in. I always say I'll be 12 forever so of course I had to go play.
Had a supreme opportunity to ride a Jackolope. Nearly got eaten by a HUGE animatronic dinosaur and made a horses behind out of myself in the process. Way fun!
